Josef and Maria Gundrum - Ottowa COMPLETED

I'm looking for any details on Josef and Maria Gundrum and family. I believe they were both born in about 1950 in Hungary. Her parents emigrated to Canada sometime after this. I don't have her maiden name or any marriage details.

They were living in Ottowa in the early 1970's.

You might have some luck with this link to the white pages .... there are only 14 listings for this name in all of Canada, although none for Ottawa. There is always the possibility that they c/h moved.

Ottawa directories are another possible resource although I don't know whether they are on line for the timespan you are looking at. The Ottawa public library may do a lookup if you contact them.

I wonder if this is a reference to Marie's mothers death - Elizabeth Mattesz ??

That's great! Thanks Sandra.

So it seems that Maria's maiden name was Mattesz. I believe Maria and Josef divorced at some stage, and perhaps she married again. I know she was a hairdresser at Elizabeth's Salon somewhere in Ottawa in the 1970's. I wonder what happened to her.
