Does anyone know if I stand a chance of finding the records of a WRAF during the war ? Not sure where she was stationed and as she was a motor mechanic it is proving difficult. Her home town was Stoke on Trent.  Thanks ancestry 9 ?

Are you a relative,  preferably son or daughter?

Do you know the date of birth and date of death of the person and where they were living on enlistment?

Dear Scouse boy, Thankyou very much for your reply. I am trying to help a gentleman in New Zealand to find his half sister Joan Pennington who was born 13th of February 1925 in Madras, India. ( her father was working there at the time ) The family came from Stoke on Trent. The gentleman in New Zealand is hoping to come over to England next year and that is why I am trying to find her or her family in advance. Thanks again ancestry 9
