Hello again,
Thanks for that.
Yes, Ellis Loadsby Parditt is part of my tree, brother of my xG gtandfather.
I didn't know the bit about him being a brewer though.
So thanks
Brian

Sorry, pressed the button too soon as was on phone.
I've found all the Parfitts, presumed siblings of Ellis Loadsby, who were christened at St. Mary Magdalene, Woolwich. I have their wills etc. too.

I still haven't figured out if Cityark had marriaged for around 1793. At the moment it appears they don't, but no explanation as to why the gap - unless I'm missing something.
Brian

The registers for marriages are there.  I know how difficult it is to use this site!

If you look at the main index, then at film number MF487, the marriages for 1793 (January) start at image number 00060586.

Wish the images weren't so huge!

Thank you very much indeed for that. The site is quite a nightmare to get to grips with, isn't it?

Dear Yorkslass,
Just wanted to thank you again as I've now found the marriage of Caleb Parfitt and Sarah Elliott. It took a bit of looking through all those files but it wasn't madly out and turned up 11 months before Christopher Perry Parfitt was baptised. All quite predictable when you know how - which was thanks to you. So eternally grateful,
Yours,
Brian

Hi Brian,

I'm so chuffed for you!  Well done for finding them.

Now you have another line to look at.  It never ends, does it!?

Best wishes,
Yorkslass

I have Caleb and Sarah in my family tree via their son Christopher and then his son John. I recently had a hint from Ancestry suggesting that he was born in 1767 in Somerset. I don’t have an Ancestry membership at present and also don’t have access to my own family tree but feel sure that he wasn’t born in Somerset although a few generations back there is a link with Somerset where there were lots of Parfitts. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
