My grandfather was JR Ward, I'd be happy to help anyone with research if I can!

Hi Corinne,
Regrettably I don't have any photos. Just a few memories of six months' working at the school in 1969 as an assistant French teacher when I was 19 and waiting to go to uni. I also supervised 'prep time' and with sports. JR was a kindly soul with a good SOH. I found his wife Maureen rather difficult. I shared a house with two bachelor teachers (names forgotten) just off the A267. I remember 'Skip' Mander(s?) who was quite a character. His rooms in the loft could be accessed only by rope ladder.
Good luck with the research!
Clive
