Sorry that my dates seem to be all over the place but a lot of them are pure guesswork based on the limited info I have and what I recall from stories from my late dad.
To make things a little more interesting, I've attached a photo I found on the RDF's site.  We think the guy on the top right may be one of the Williams as his resemblence to one of my brothers is uncanny. The photo is of unnamed RDF officers.  I suggested this possible family link to the site's administrator and am awaiting a reply.

I've had a search on the BMD Index for possible marriages for John and an unknown Tyrell in the likely districts between 1911 and 1920 ... but didn't find anything. (Dublin north and south city, Rathdown and Rathdrum, which covers Arklow)

if the first wife nee Tyrrell died 1918 approx if she was the mother of Evelyn and Margaret surely she either died later or they were born earlier??

Hello.  I am new here so forgive me if I am all over the place
John Johnson @ Florence Tyrrell were my maternal grandparents. 
My mother Evelyn Frances was born in March 1924 and her sister Margaret (Peggy ) was born in 1922.
Florence died very young in 1931   John remarried an Elizabeth Coady. 
He died in 1954 and is buried in Mt Jerome Cemetary Dublin with Florence.  I put up a small headstone and visit their grave.
Is there anything else I can help with?
When I was doing my research I could not find Johns  birth certificate or go further
