Hi all, I am also a Harrison while family lived in the Alston area  - Renwick.
My grandfather was called Ivan and my father was John Raymond.
All I can remember is that we used to go to Alston as kids to visit my dads aunties in the cafe and family rumours are that we once had relatives that had a farm in Alston. My grandparents and kids moved to Wylam in the early 60s.
