1818 baptism, Keynsham
« on: Thursday 28 April 05 05:30 BST (UK) »
Would be very grateful for any information about Frederick Shum Batchelor, born c1818 in Keynsham - presumably baptised at St John the Baptist church. Father William Batchelor, 'gentleman' (according to an 1842 marriage cert.).

Thanks,

Ros

I cannot find a record for Frederick in Keynsham but there was a Frederick Batchelor baptised at St Marys in Salford on 10 Mar 1818. He was the son of William & Elizabeth - William is shown as 'gent'. No other information recorded. You probably know that Salford is very close to Keynsham.

The Keynsham records do show a John Mabuly Batchelor baptised on 3 Feb 1815, shown also as being the son of William (gent) and Elizabeth.
