i am almost certain this is your julia and the 2 children
bertha is aged 11 born in scotland
beatrice is aged 11 born in notts but both are down as the children of george/julie bouley
i think what probably happens is george bouley moves up to scotland between 1880 and 1882 and meets up with julie litherland
julie leaves george litherland taking the children with her
george moves back down to england sometime between 1882-1891
unless james and cissie are also the children of george and julie litherland in which case julie leaves george litherland some time after 1886 and comes back down to england taking the children with her and meets george bouley between 1886-1891

Wow, thanks for that, looks  a 99% likely option. Always a problem when they "shack up" with someone. I've got a similar one in London where the mother legs it with the kids, no sign for 20+years then shows on marriage records which are fortunatly on line.  Thanks once again P
