Completely stumped on finding the parents of this grandaughter:

1841 census JERRY GIPSON age 7 born abt 1834 Fetteresso
living with William Stephen and Rebecca Jarves at Ann Street, Stonehaven.

1851 JISSIE GIBBEN age 17 born abt 1834 Fetteresso
grandaughter age 17 living with William Stephen and his wife Rebecca Stephen
at Ann Street, Stonehaven.

William and Rebecca married in their mid 20's in 1816 Benholm. No previous marriages or children known, and they seem to have had only one daughter Elizabeth Stephen b 1817, married age 22 to Alexander Paul, first child born 1840.

So whose child was this Jerry Gipson / Jissie Gipson...?
Searched the IGI.... nothing.
