Family Tree Maker 2005 - Tree Display Help
« on: Thursday 28 April 05 12:15 BST (UK) »
Hi there
Can anyone help me with a query I have with diplaying descendant charts in Family Tree Maker 2005?
I would like to be able to put both couples in the same box (like you can in Family Historian) when displaying tree's to save space rather than have them connected by lines and taking up too much room but I can't find a way of doing this.  Am I just looking in the wrong place or is there just not an option for doing this?   ???

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers
Kieran  :D

 ???

Kieran

I cannot find a way to do it either. From the format menu you can choose how close you want the boxes together eg squished. Also confine to 1 page. There is a help email which I have used to try and eliminate US data from automatic searches but although they got back to me within a day they couldn't give me an answer but said they would bear it in mind for the next version.

Maybe some one else has a better answer for you.

Good luck

Jane

Thanks for looking any way Jane.
I wish I could take bits from each programme and put them together  :P
It's perhaps the one problem I have with FTM, the size of the prints however small I make things.
