Just to confirm, from microfilm at Lichfield Record Office:

31 December 1807, by Banns - St Matthew, Walsall

William Vickers (x) of this parish, Bachelor and Elizabeth Cook (x) of the same parish, Spinster.  Witnesses:  John Cooke (as I read the signature) and Mary Broadhurst (as I read the signature).
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!
