Hi Pejic
I havae this George Smith as a twig. He was married to Jane Middleton. Both were dead and buried by 1881. Their daughter, Mary 1843, is my connection. She married Henry Crook 1844 who was my 2nd cousin 3 times removed.
When you have a mo, I am happy to share. Which/who are you interested in, particularly?

Vicwinann, pleased to hear from you cousin!

Your Mary's younger sister Elizabeth Ann was my great grandmother.  She married 16-11-1867 Caleb Wernham who died 11-5-1880 being "run over by a traction engine whilst drunk!"

I didnt have your Mary until ribbo told me about the 1851 census.

I imagine (hope) her marriage in 1844 is a typo! It will make a mess of my searches if I have to expect 1 year olds getting married.

I was hoping to find George's mother Mari? living with him at the census, as all I have so far is that he was base born 31-12-1813 in Hampstead Norris, fathered by William Brooks - do you have any light to shed on that?

Hi Pejic,
I will send you a private message with my address. The 1844 should have been Henry Crook born 1844. He and Mary Smith married in 1866.
Yours
Vicwinann
