Hi Ladyhawk, yes I've been thinking the same thing. Lydia's sister Elizabeth's granddaughter was present at the death. What is Lydia's relationship to you?

That's very kind of you, thank you. Lydia is my three times great grandmother. I'm trying to establish how many siblings she had. So far only found her sister, Elizabeth.

When was Elizabeth born?

Have you tried searching using https://www.freereg.org.uk there are baptisms, burials, marriages in Appledore, Kent for persons with Surname Boon

To narrow the search use surname Boon County Kent Place Appledore

Elizabeth Boon was born in 1788. She married Thomas Woodhams.

Lydia has proved difficult. There were several Lydia Boons born in the same area around the same time. She had two children outside marriage and presumably different fathers. I can only find one Nicholas Clark in the area and he had married someone else by the time the second one was born. Then she seems to have married very late in life.

I've been trying lots of avenues. I do think William and Elizabeth are the right parents mainly by process of elimination.
