Burial Register for Cutcombe after 1850
« on: Thursday 09 June 11 02:52 BST (UK) »
The West Somerset Parish Register Transcriptions finish at 1850. I am trying to
find a Death of a Mary VENN who would be aged between 50 and 60. She was the
second wife of William VENN. They were residing in Cutcombe in 1861. William
died on the 21 Jan 1870 in Tynewydd, Llangenior, Glamorgan, Wales. I have been
previously told that members of his family took him Wales after the death of
Mary about 1865.

According to Rootswebb Free BDM There are about 3 Mary VENN'S dying in the area during 1860 to 1870.

Does anyone have access to the burial register for Cutcombe after 1850 that may answer my question.

I am descended through his fist wife Betty WYBOURNE / WEBBORN.

There son James my GGG Grandfather born abt 1802 in Exford won himself in 1835 a 14 year free one way trip to VDL (Tasmania)

TIA
