Census lookups - Jabez Anstee/ Anton

Can anyone do a look up for me. I am after any information on Jabez and his wife (Avery Bone, born 1817/8). They married in 1839 (his surname showing as Anton) but on the 1881 census the surname is shown as Anstee - so earlier censuses could be under either name. I am keen to know where they were living, their ocupations and whether they had any children with them. In 1881 there is just the two of them, living at Langford End, Tempsford in bedfordshire.
Any information greatly appreciated - Avery Bone is my gt gt gt Aunt

Looks like they stayed in Tempsford? Ancestry member 'Ivycottage' has corrected this entry back in February ...

In 1901 he is staying with a cousin named Oliver, and his full name is David Bass AUTON - he is shown 'Married, Seperated' (unusual detail) - a marriage can be seen in Mar Q 1890, in Hunslet to an Elizabeth Hall, who he is with in West Ham, 1891 census.


I wonder if young David is the son of Jabez jnr (James was in Hants in 1871, unmarried, and John was an AB Seaman on the 'Sealark' ( a Tender to HMS Implaccable, and a training Brig) moored at Drakes Island, Plymouth Sound))

Hmmm, not sure of David's relationship in the 1881 census of Twickenham - RG11/Piece: 1343 Folio: 40 Page: 4 @ 17, Hampton Road. - altho he is with the Family I thought he belonged to .... maybe he's the son of one of the daughters shown in 1871 ...
