Hi Queenie,  I came across your chats on this website quite by chance and I see they are quite a few years old.  You were looking for information on Eva Lynch and Leonard Sainsbury in South Africa.  I can fill in most of the blanks regarding that branch of the family if you are still researching it.

I am unfamiliar with this website so don't know how it all works - you will have to step me through.  I now live in Australia and can help you with most of the information you were looking for on your thread.    (Krugersdorf in your heading should read Krugersdorp :)

Regards
Backsoon

Hi Pampoen - thanks you for your prompt reply to my post.  I am keen to trace the Lynch family in New Zealand.  I knew Eva Lynch/Sainsbury when I was living in South Africa.  I have been to NZ a number of times and would be interested to contact her family/ancestors there.

Hi Queen and Pampoen,  I am trying to trace the New Zealand side of the Family Tree of Eva Lynch.  Eva, as you know, lived in South Africa and was one of 12 children, some of whom I understand remained in New Zealand.  Some years ago I was in contact with Brian Baggott (whom has been mentioned in previous posts here I see) He was going to forward me information he had discovered about the New Zealand Lynch family members whom he had traced.  Unfortunately he passed away shortly after that without sending me the information. Many thanks, Backsoon
