Your welcome Graham. There are other Toronto newspapers for the time, such as the The Toronto Telegram, known as The Evening Telegram in the 1930s. There could be an announcement in another paper such as this and then again there may not be. The telegram ceased publication in 1971.

The Toronto Star is archived at 'Pages of the Past'. It is a pay site but quite inexpensive and you can buy short amounts of time also.
