Help finding Robert Clement & William WALKER

Hi all!

I am brand new to this forum.....hope you can help me?

I am searching for any info on Robert Clement Walker. Unfortunately I have very little info on him. I understand he was the licensee of a pub called "The Ferry Boat Inn" in North Fambridge, Essex in 1922.

Also seems he was married to a Hilda Grace White b. circa 1887 and they had a son, Raymond Robert Walker b. Bromley, Kent, 1912.

Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated!

Do you have the marriage date for Robert Clement Walker???

I can find the death of son Raymond Robert but nothing for a marriage of his parents

Any other little snippet of information may help

Where did you find Hilda's y.o.b.?

Thank you so much for the warm welcome!

I don't have a marriage date for Robert and Hilda. I've been told that he may have been a fair bit older then Hilda. Seems they were divorced in the mid 1900's and both remarried. She in 1919. He married his nurse and they had a daughter, Madge.

I got Hilda's date of birth from her 2nd marriage certificate and FreeBMD.

Could you give me the details of Ray's death?

She uses her maiden name (White) and not Walker and her status is spinster. Her father seems to be still living and is named as George James White, a Tea Merchant.

I don't have any further info on him, either.

She married Walter Trevonie Coutts, born circa. 1890. He was a lieutenant in the RAF and his father is listed as Trevonie Coutts, deceased.

I've been going over my records again. Rumour has it that Robert's parents may have been a William Walker and Emma Robertson, but that is not based on fact at all.

I have ordered Ray's birth certificate and am hoping it may shed more light on the matter.
