Mysterious Burton brothers?

Hi!
I have a bit of a problem here:
My grand-grand-mother's brothers John Francis B Burton and Arthur Gerald Burton seem to have disappeared. My father has told me that he think that at least one of them moved to Liverpool, because they never showed up at any family meetings or anything. Here they are in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire in 1901:

Now I have had an idea that they moved to the U.S.

I don't know if they did, but could anyone please check them up.
