Wills question

I have an ancestor Thomas SHANKS died in Huntingdonshire 1857 my question is would he have had a will if so where would I find it?

If he did leave a will then in 1857 it would probably be at Huntingdon Records Office. However the system for proving wills changed early in 1858, but the Records Office should still have an index

It's not a PCC will which would be recorded on the TNA site

I would assume that TNA will be "The National Archives" and their site is at this link http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/

Can't help with PCC though I'm afraid.

PCC = Prerogotive Court of Canterbury

The Prerogative Court of Canterbury was the highest church court in England and Wales until 1858.
