It appears that Yeoman's were photographers from c. 1895 onwards.
The Yeoman's central studio was gutted by fire in 1912 in Bourke Street. (see below)
The State Library of Victoria has several examples of their photos. So your photo would date pre 1912.

His death removes from the city one of its oldest and most respected business men. He was an ardent sportsman, and many years ago was a prominent figure on the hunting field.
