Chances to find anything about Murdo are low. He lived in the 1700's, and there are very few records in Gairloch prior to 1800. I think John's death certificate states he was 86 at death, which means he was born around 1787.

On the other hand, there is a lot to search in John MacKenzie and Annabella Morrison. It looks like they had a biggish family, at least 11 children according to the 1841 census. These are them, living in Mellon Udrigle (I've added baptism dates for those recorded in OPR):

JOHN 50 Tenant
ANABEL 45
MURDO 25 Woolen hand loom weaver
JACOBINA 20 (bap 1 Jul 1817)
DONALD 20
ANN 19
EMILY 17 (bap 8 Dec 1824)
MARGARET 15
DUNCAN 13 (bap 19 Jun 1829)
JOHN 11 (bap 16 Oct 1831)
KENNETH 9
WILLIAM 6 (bap 10 Sep 1836)
BARBARA 1

I know of the following deaths for these children:

DUNCAN, crofter, died single 17 Mar 1871 in Laide.
ANN, married John MacLennan, died 20 Jul 1865 in Mellon Charles.
MARGARET, married Murdo MacKenzie, died 9 Jul 1861 in Mellon Udrigle.
