1891 census lookup completed

I am trying to find a connection with this family below to my McKnight family
 1901 census 22 Front Row Workington
Matilda Griffin age 63 b.Ireland
William Griffin age 65 b.Ireland
Elizabeth McKnight age 70 b Ireland
I cant find Elizabeth McKnight on any outher census .I am trying to work out if this could be my great granfathers sister he was born in C 1844 in Ireland and appears on various census as a lodger although his wife and family are just a couple of Miles down the road

Have you looked at the 1901 image?

Eliza McKnight is shown as sister in law and was unmarried - presumably Matilda's maiden name was McKnight

Thanks you both that's the best lead I have to the McKnight's.  I will see if I can find a marriage for William Griffin to a Matilda McKnight

They were in Cumberland in 1871 - Elizabeth McKnight was living with them at that time and they they had 2 children both b Cumberland - William aged 7 and Alexander aged 5

No marriage in Cumberland or England around 1861-1863

I have found a possible marriage using the IGI Pilot site which has the Irish marriage index from 1845 - 1958.  See what you think as the volume and page numbers are the same

Thank you very much, that looks like it .been trawling all afternoon and getting no where I think I am getting a bit past it now but I really would like too find out about the McKnight's .My great grandfather seems to have spent most of his life alone and ended up dying in the work house after working all his life at Cammerton Pit

just to update you sadly Matilda McKnight's father on her marriage cert was Alexander
my William McKnight's  father Was David McKnight so it appears they were not Siblings
