Does anyone have any information regarding the death  of Sophia Langbridge (nee Hilton)
abt 1839 in Huddersfield?

LANGBRIDGE Sophia buried 1839 bn c1807 Huddersfield Yorkshire (West Riding )
Unfortunately we are not allowed to do lookups on FindMyPast but you can look at the record payperview.
I see the GRO indexes on http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/cgi/search.pl  have two Sophia Langbridges dying in the same qtr in Huddersfield different ref No's, this could be an error on the original register.

My burial transcription indexes have a Sophia Langbridge 32 buried in Huddersfield St. Paul's on the 28 April 1839 and she was living at Out Coat Bank, Huddersfield.
There are also two more burials at Huddersfield St. Paul's
James Langbridge 16 month, they were living in King Street, Huddersfield and he was buried on the 10 June 1834 and Sarah Ann Langbridge 3, they were living at Bank Top, Huddersfield and she was buried on the 22 January 1836.
The church and part of the graveyard is part of the University of Huddersfield but some of the graveyard is part of the Huddersfield ringroad and most of the headstone have gone.

Hi John thats excellent.  I believe Sophia's husband's given name was James, so it seems to come together quite nicely. Thanks very much for the assistance, it is greatly appreciated
