  I can confirm that your ref regarding a possible marriage for John Devlin was correct. as found in the same grave at Western Cemetery Geelong 13886   DEVLIN   MAGDALENE    22 Jan 1962   Geelong Western Public Cemetery   PRS*1***480W    ;D

Just for interest 3 hotels were owned or managed by Devlins in the1904 Vic PO Directory.

  That's interesting as the Brother of Margaret Devlin (nee Ryan) my G Grandfather Michael Ryan owned a hotel in Geelong central!
Does it say the name of the Hotels ???
