I am hoping that someone can help me with trying to find some info regarding Anne Doyle b abt 1827 in County Wicklow Ireland. ???
 Anne married a James John Hammond born in 1832 in County Louth Ireland. where they married I do not have .
James Hammond came out to Australia when I have not been able to find out.

Hope that someone can help me.

Doyle is a very common surname in Wicklow so it's not going to be easy to find Anne with so few clues... do you know which parish her family lived in or any details of her parents ?

I do not know if James had any brothers as I only have info that james was from Ireland and married Anne Doyle in Victoria.
I will go through my info and see if I can find anything?

This may be the same family as mine...still trying to confirm things & looking for more info...

Michael Doyle who married Margaret Murphy and I know of the following children.
Anne Doyle bc 1827 m 1856 Vic to John Hammond
Michael Doyle bc 1833 m 1876 Vic to  Annie Rush
Mary Elizabeth Doyle bc 1837 m Owen Cullen
James Doyle bc 1846 m 1876 Vic to Mary Ryan
Matthew Doyle bc 1848 m 1876 Blenheim, NZ to Mary-Ann Riordan
There may be more children but these all found their way at various times to Gaffneys Creek, Victoria and then Matthew finally settled in NZ.

Anne DOYLE is thought to have been passenger no 52 among the 'Nominal List of Orphan Girls per the ship "New Liverpool"' 720 tons.  The ship left Plymouth on 25 Apr 1849 and arrived on 9 Aug 1849.  Passenger no 52 is listed as:

Doyle Anne
16 years
Roman Catholic
NurseMaid
Charles ?Nantes, Geelong wine merchant (employer)
Seven pounds (rate of wages)
2 years (term of engagement)
15 Sept  (date of leaving).
