Hi Richard,

I have come across your posts while searching for information on George Clavell (poss 1637-1676), so was glad to find reference to him.   I am searching on behalf of a friend and her 5th Great Grandparents are William Spicer (no confirmed dates) who married Hannah Clavell on 25th May 1751 in Winfrith Newburgh.   Hannah's parents were William Clavell (no confirmed dates yet) and Mary Slade (  - 1771).   I believe William's parents were George and Mary, but so far I am struggling to find any information but the name spellings that I have found here will help me.

and I have contacted the author to see if she has any more information, but it suggests that George's parents are Edward Clavell and Bridget Turberville.
