1841/1851 census lookup in Allendale for Whitfield Plesae?

Hi Please could somebody lookup a Elizabeth and Teasdale Whitfield in Allendale, they had 3 children George, John and Teasdale

Today I was looking at dozens of Whitfields in Allendale area, Census 1851 and Whitfield marriages from  an index "Northumberland Marriages 1813-1837".

I can see you probably already have  answers to your Census questions, so here is marriage info....

A Teesdale Whitfield married Sarah Bell on 6 Jun 1816 at Allandale Parish .

John Whitfield married Jane Shield on 20 May 1826 at Allenheads Parish.

Teasdale Whitfield married Elizabeth Spotswood on  2 Aug 1829

Thomas Whitfield married Jane Vert on 23 May 1833 at
AllenheadsAllenheads.

And Margaret Whitfield married Nevin Philipson on 22 Nov 1834.

75 yr old Teasdale, widowed on C1851 on 2415-155-9, with John 37.

( nee Dickinson) at 2415-154-7

A Joseph Spotswood 60, and Thomas 26, at 2415-206, and a Robert at 2415-55


Most of the men were Iron Ore Miners. In some Northumberland libraries, there is a book all about the miners, with old photographs.

Click on Allendale Flower Show 1865... right column of newspaper report, see prize winner for " Best 6 dessert Apples"

Then click on Pigot's Trade Directory and see Whitfields as Butcher, Grocer and Linen business.
