Lizzie, I believe was my Dad's grandmother, I think
My Father Goronwy Owen was born in 1936 (died 2022) and was the son of Robert Owen, whom I believe was John Owen's & Elizabeth Owen's Son. My Dad used to mention Lizzie a relative from Newborough.
John Owen, my Great Grandfather was a Bard and a recognized one at that. I believe he won around 24 Bard Chairs in the Anglesey eisteddfod's. One of which I have at my mum's house and one is at my sisters house. The rest, I believe, have been distributed amongst the family. I have a photo of John Owen stood in front of a collection of said Bard's chairs at my mum's house.
A lot of the poetry that my Dad had from his Taid, he donated to the local archives in Llangefni a few years ago.
