Thank you Jed for a fabby day out.
I live here and have visited all of the locations before but the insight I had today about them where fantastic ... (I am so going to search on-line about what John Rylands Library has and ask to view them in my lunch hour)... plus meeting up with everyone was great :)

Thanks Jed for organising a great meet.

It was fantastic  seeing everyone again. Sorry I missed out on the library, it sounds like I really missed something special.

Hopefully, I will be better next time, and will walk the legs of everyone  ::) :P

Im so glad everybody enjoyed themselves.  Hard to say which was my "best bit".. I enjoyed all the venues in different ways,....... but the textile machinery demo was good, and brought back memories,as a lot of my ancestors worked in cotton mils in some of the occupations mentioned. And the Library.
Of course that was just a lick of the ice cream so to speak...:- as I say the main thing is that everybody enjoyed themselves. i know I did...A grand day out in grand company! 8)
