Parish of Kilballane
« on: Wednesday 06 July 11 12:37 BST (UK) »
Further to an earlier post on the marriage of John Donovan & Margaret McCarthy married in Charleville Co.Cork -  the address of both is given as Parish of Kilballane  - I have googled the name but can't seem to find - does anyone know where Kilballane is?

looks like that is the place - nearest identified village is Milford - just 5 miles from Charlesville and nearer Shandrum where two of their children were born.

Thank you
