1940 Will

Hi List,
Just wondering if anyone could help me with a couple of things.

I found the following info on Ancestry.

I always believed an uncle died in the States but I just found out that he died in Yorkshire on Feb. 23, 1940 . I believe a Probate of his Will was done on Sept 5 of that year but said in "Administration-London.
The write-up said he was from Chry???, Great Cowden, Yorkshire and died in the Hornsea & District Memorial Cottage Hospital in Hornsea.

Could someone please tell me if it would be possible to get a copy of his Will and if so how would I go about it.

Anyone familiar with the area could you please tell me what the Chry??? would be.

His name was Percy Alfred SHEARWOOD.

Chrystaholme,Great Cowden sounds like a house name to me?

Maybe even an old peoples home?

Looking at the info again I think it reads

"CHRYSTAHOLME'

Is there still such a place in Great Cowden??

Googling Chrystaholme doesn't produce any results,but looking at Great Cowden it's not a very big place!

Did you look up the place on Ancestry.

My copy is terrible so not really sure what Hannah's last name is or what the effects amounted to.
Were you able to tell?
