Volk Family from Philadelphia, PA

I'm looking for any information about my ancestor John C. Volk.
He was born July 7 1815 and died December 19 1891,      in Philadelphia, PA
He was married twice to Mary Kaiser & Henrietta ---.
He had 6 children with Mary: Frederick John, Anna, Andrew Jackson, John C., Sophia, & William Henry
He had 4 children with Henrietta: Hannah, Catherine, Emma, & Elmer Elsworth

John's father is believe to be Frederick Volk of Germany, although I have no info about that.
I was hoping if someone could help me in finding out info about his parents; or anything in general would be amazing.
