fenlon/marriage look up

hi can anyone help im trying to find where in carlow my fenlon family came from my gggfather michael fenlon born 1801/2 in calow joined the carlow militia and went to wexford and lived there until he died ive looked at reconds at kew for militia but dont have years he was there can anyone help with this and anyother info would be great

It would be a good idea to provide more details like dates (even approx. dates would help) and explain a bit more about what you are hoping to find.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

my gg/grandfather was michael fenlon born 1801/2 in carlow not sure where in carlow parents may have been james and mary in my research the name cloven seems connected but not sure any info would be great alan

also he joined the carlow militia and went to wexford where he stayed until his death in 1900 there are lots of fenlons in wexford related to me but its the carlow connection that im at a brick wall with

To find information on the family in early 1800s you would need to search for any existing church records if you haven't done so already. To do so you'll need to know both the family's religion and where they lived (parish if not actual townland).

As far as I know there are no research facilities in Carlow and the Church records aren't on the IFHF site so it would mean having to search the actual records in the relevant parish. There are some records here but how useful I'm not sure http://www.igp-web.com/carlow/Baptisims.htm

i think place was rathgeran ? not sure of parish anyhelp would be great
