The last available Canadian Census was 1911 apart from Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta which was 1916.  As a guide BMD Records are only available for births more than a 100 years ago, marriages 80 years ago and deaths 70 years ago.

1911 shows Edith and Edward still in Halton - sub district :- Nassagaweya

Edward Agnew aged 31 Farmer -  Edith Agnew    aged 31 Born October 1879 -  Children :-  Gordon Agnew  born Ontario aged 3 and Evelyn Agnew Born Ontario aged 1 year.

Thanks *Sandra*

Shocked to see the family connection with Albert Edwards - his is Alma's cousin from England. But it has been very hard to find him, as it is a very common name.

Is there any mention of a son - we thought it was also Frederick Wesley Gunston, but unable to find anymore information on him

Kind regards
Chris

Hi *Sandra*

Albert  Edwards birth was registered in 1891 Jan-Mar at Bournemouth Hampshire England (later becomes part of Dorset) to parents Alfred Edwards and Louisa Emily Annie Edwards nee Vicborn (known as Annie)

His siblings were
Annie Naomi Edwards
Agnes died aged 16
Alfred Reginald Edwards
Alexander Clive Edwards
Arthur Frederick Edwards

Have not been able to find any information on Albert and Arthur - but if Albert emigrated to USA or Canada this may explain why

Thank you for your help, very much appreciated

Regards
Chris

Hi *Sandra*

I have that Alma and Frederick son also "Frederick Wesley Gunston" was born in 1908 at Halton Ontario Canada, but no further information since

It is very hard to find information on the Bunce family either because of the Canadian restrictions on BMD records or they "emigrated" to the USA to escape from the toils of "farming"

Regards
Chris
