My grandfather is shown on the Scottish Census of 1911 as born in "Transvaal Jo'burg" around 1874. his name was David Rennie Malcolm Scrimgeour, his parents were Alex. (stonemason) and Jessie (nee Malcolm). any help in getting closer to this birth would be appreciated

Sorry the birth year should read "1894"
