this is absolutely fantastic, shortly after this James died and wife & 6 children departed for New Zealand.

He married 3 times total of 12 children. My husbands great grandmother is the Mary dau age 5 born Bothwell.
Mary McConnell brought her 6 surviving children out to New Zealand. She lived with her daughter Mary until she died in 1907 Dunedin NZ.
