Iddesons from Darlington

We are researching the Iddesons who lived in Darlington around1860- 1880. They state on census returns that they were born there but we cannot find them William and Richard.
North East Scotland:Cullen area: Donald, Simpson, Skakel, Hay
Shropshire: Geary Ball
Durham: Iddeson
Gloucestershire:okey
Lancashire: Midgeley scholes Henshaw Hibbert
Cheshire Boden

Are you doing a One Name Study on the entire family name or are you just after information on particular individuals? 

If the latter is the case I will gladly move the post for you to a more relevant board which may help to generate a response for you.   Please let me have any information on possible locations (County etc.) so I can place it in the right board.
