Yes thank you Mags54

I received your PM but as Sarah said I cannot answer it.

The information I have is that Florence Emmie Phillips Married James Duff at the Anglican Cathedral Johannesburg Transvaal on 7th May 1927. They had no children.

As far as I know, Jimmy died at a youngish age caused by a kick on the knee playing football. It may have been a haemorrhage.

Auntie Flo never remarried and passed away in Durban in the late 60's. Not long after Alice.

Thanks for your reply
I've managed to find out very little about Florence in her adult life apart from her adult baptism and marriage records and death record for husband James. I wondered if she had children at all but found no trace of any. Did Alice your grandmother have other children besides your mum and Audrey Elsa? I've got lots of information regarding their early lives in Wales and go back many generations of the Phillips family.
