John Evans Llanllwni

If there is anyone out there who has any information about John Evans of Llanllwni, Carmarthanshire I would be very grateful.  I know that he was married to Jane Davies and have all the information I need about that but would like to know more about his life, his parents etc.  I know that he was born around 1832 and that is all!

Hi dragongirl,  Thanks for your reply, it could be my John Evans, but I don't know his parents names or anything, but the year of his birth is around the correct time. I know when he married Jane they had at least 3 children, James, Catherine and Thomas and that is the total sum of my knowledge about him!

Hi The Mc.  Thanks for your reply, looking at the list and the first one could be correct because if my thinking is right he might have called hisone of his sons after his father, he had at least 3 children in his marriage to Jane; James, Catherine and Thomas.

If you purchase the marriage certificate of John and Jane, it should give the names and occupations of their fathers.
