Phone Directory?

I am trying to track a relative who's last known address in 1976 was Hull. Is there a way of looking at phone directoreies, even if recent in Hull at all?

Hull used to be unique in that it had its own phone system.  Not sure if it still does.

My local library has a full set of telephone directories for the UK.   I suggest you ask your Library to show you their set of phone directories.

Thankyou Andrea I have found searching the telephone system over there a bit confusing by the results I have been getting when googling! Too many search sites that aren't legit

You could also try Genes Reunited...you can search for living relatives on there.
