Any help finding McKniel/McKneil family

Hi

I am trying to trace my Great Great Grandmother Ada Rose born about 1863 in ).

What I know about Ada Rose so far...

Born approx 1862/63 in South Africa (Cape Lewis SA according to the 1891 UK census and Cape Colony SA according to the 1901 UK census).

Ada married Charles Hinton on 12th August 1885 at the Garrison Chapel, Cape Town.
I have a copy of the marriage certificate and Ada's nationality is listed as Scottish. I have no idea as to why the McKniel/McKneil family are in South Africa.

Ada's father is Thomas McKniel/McKneil , profession Plumber.
