William and Ann Aris
« on: Saturday 16 July 11 13:15 BST (UK) »
Hello

William Aris was born in 1801 in Richmond, Surrey to William and Ann.

I've found what I think is William's burial in 1837 in Richmond, aged 63.

Could someone please shed some light on what happened to Ann?

Thank you

It looks like Ann on the 1841 and 1851 census living in Richmond-born 1773. On the 1851 one, she is living at 6, Houblons Alms Houses, Richmond and is a Pauper Housekeeper-Widow. I can't see her on the 1861 census, but there is a death of an Ann Aris in 1853 in East London on FreeBMD. She was born in Isleworth, Middlesex.
regards.

Thanks Valda, that explains why I couldn't find her death.
