 ;D I was trying to think of someone a bit more exotic than Dierdrie from Corrie!  ;D Not quite in the same league as Lillie Langtree, mistress of many.  ;)

I know what you mean... but the 'mistress of many' bit is coincidentalllllllllly similar maybe??

(not that I watch the programme -- of course!?)

I found an old small and battered family bible at the carboot today. I had to buy it ,,,,guess im a real family history saddo

 :P :P :P Enjoy!

Car boot sales now mean two things to me:

1. Possible finds like yours - old bibles, photos, albums, postcards etc etc for the interest in family history, even if it isn't my own, and;

2. Vintage teacups & saucers, glass jars - to hold the simple summer flowers that my daughter wants to decorate the tables for her wedding next August.

Guess where I'll be spending my summer holidays?!

THat's very commendable of you, Gortonboy!

Now, I must look out that old photo album (which I have no idea as to how it ended up in our family) and see if I can trace who it belongs to....
