Tabitha Biddle born 1861 in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, England

Looking for information on Tabbith Biddle born 1861 in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, England .
I know she Married William Alexander Hough in 1881 in Surrey.
In the 1911 census I believe she is there with her daughters Lily B Hough and Daisy Hough, but Tabitha's name is transcribed as Tabitha Yates born 1861 Wolverhampton.
I can not find any marriage for her to a Yates anywhere. but I have found a death for a Tabitha Hough in 1917 in Croydon Surrey. which is where the family was living.
could anyone help me with this and let me know if Tabitha's name in 1911 census was transcribed wrong or if she did marry again to a Yates.
I would be very Grateful for any help anyone  could give me to solve this as it is driving me mad.

Tabitha Yates is stated as married - but it does not state how many years!

I think that I may have found Tabitha on the 1901 census under the name of Gates

Thomas Gates 1866 Sittingbourne Kent
Tabitha Gates 1865 Birmingham Staffordshire
Lily Gates 1890 Stafford Staffordshire
Daisy Gates 1892 Stafford Staffordshire

All living in Croydon Surrey

No marriage yet, I think that she may have left her first husband and set up home with Thomas Gates but never married him that is why her death was recorded under the name of Hough it may be worth sending for this to see who the informant was.

 hi Debs  , can find nothing on Tabitha after 1891 Census except the death in 1917
          BUT have found William he turns up in 1911 still a watchmaker but married to an Elizabeth for 20yrs
with a daughter Jessie aged 17yrs Born in CANADA which explains the gap.they now live in Wiltshire.
  No divorce found or new marriage  but could have taken place in Canada though her birthplace is gven as Stanwell Middlesex his Hamilton Scotland which was on other  Census
 Will look for Tabitha under Yates/Gates

William Hough 1861 b Scotland Mechanical Engineer I think this could refer to watch maker
Ellen Hough 1861 Stains Middlesex
George Hough 1883 Stains Middlesex
John Hough 1892 Montreal Canada
Jessie Hough 1894 Montreal Canada

All living in Wathamstow Essex if this is the same family I don't think that these children are William's because they are of similar ages to Tabitha's children unless he had two wives on the go.

The George Hough born 1883 in Staines is perhaps Ellen/Elizabeth's child. If a divorce had taken place there would be no impediment to either Tabitha or William remarrying. Divorce was an expensive process as there was no legal aid. As the marriage took place in this country you would expect it would be necessary for the divorce take place here also.
