WOODBRIDGE Family, Bonnie Doon

I am looking for the relatives of Caroline Woodbridge as I am researching the Woodbridge family back to Oxfordshire in England. Thomas Woodbridge came to Australia in 1858. The other side of the family are the Warrens who came to Geelong John Warren and his sister Jane who was married to William Daniel.

Do you mean the Caroline Mary WOODBRIDGE who married  James PROWD in 1876 # 3838
I see they had at least 6 children do you need their names ?

I can see a Robert Thomas Woodbridge dying in 1886 born 1883 with parents Thomas Woodbridge and Rosetta Farra/Farrands Almond. Place name for both events was transcribed as Doon so maybe Bonnie Doon.
Amy Elizabeth Anderson died 1958 in Colac born 1882 Doon (transcribed as Woodbourne).
Charles Henry born 1885 Dora died 1962 Hamilton
Rosetta Mary Phillips born1887 Doon died 1941 at Drouin
Gilbert William born and died 1891 at Doon
Annie Olive Almond born 1895 - place not shown

Marriage for parents with mum spelled as Rosetta Farrande Almond 1881 Victoria #2345.
A death for Thomas Woodbridge 1937 at Hamilton (same as his son above) #18269 born c1859, parents Thomas and Mary UNKNOWN.
Rosetta died 1930 Oakleigh #15061 father as Robert Almond, mothers surname as Farrands.

But as Alison said in her post, there was a marriage for Caroline to James Prowd and 6 children variously spelled Prowd, Proud and even one as Prond all around Bonnie Doon. Caroline appears to have remarried and dies as Caroline Mary Nicholls in 1940 at Campbellfield aged 82 #4834 with parents as Thomas Woodbridge and Mary Ann Guy.

Continuing the line of Thomas and Mary Ann:

Elizabeth Cliff born c1866 died 1946 Murrumbeena #121
Ann Jones born c1869 died 1954 Brunswick #7379
Charles born c1863 died 1941 South Melbourne #12559
Margaret born c1867 died 1949 Murrumbeena #11996 but shows different surname for Mum.

I am a descendant of Thomas Woodbridge of Bonnie Doon, and would be very interested in your research.  My Father was William Donald Phillips, his Father was William Thomas Phillips and his Mother was Rosetta Phillips nee Woodbridge.  Thomas was Rosetta's Father.

have just read your post re the Woodbridge at Bonnie. I am only too willing to assist you with your research and it is great that I have found a Phillips. I am currently working for Tennis Australia so pushed for time until February. Maybe you are happy to email as I find this easier than this program which I hardly use so forget all the procedures.I have been in contact with the Mansfield G.Society and also used British Gen which has been great for info from Oxfordshire.
