An elusive Grandmother-Update.

Anna asked if I would let her know about my grandmothers birth certificate when it arrived. I now have it. Elizabeth Francies was born May15th 1877 in Croydon Workhouse Infirmary. Her mother is Susan Francies-Domestic Servant. I mention previously that Maurice my grandfather died in the infirmary in1933.
 
At this point I am wondering if Susan was actually in the workhouse. I have also considered that I may find that is where Elizabeth's half brother, also a Maurice was born.
