Hi Betsy, thanks, that's interesting and quite possible I guess as the marriage was one i've never seen before.
John Bone in Village and Agnes Lockhart from the Parish of Penninghame acknowledged that they were irregularly married in D Dee by Alex Goldie which marriage was confirmed by Mr Learmont on the twenty eighth January eighteen hundred and sixteen.
From my info they were both born in Wigtownshire so they must have been in Donagadhee decided to get 'irregularly' married and then had it confirmed when they got back to Wigtownshire.
