JELL – South Kent, early 19th Century.
« on: Friday 29 July 11 09:04 BST (UK) »
I'm looking for information on my great-great-Grandfather JAMES JELL and his family.  I know that he had a son Joseph James, born in Hythe, Kent in 1834, and that he had a brother  George, who was born in 1801, so I assume that James was born sometime between 1790 and 1810, but probably nearer the latter.  He is recorded as being a Shoemaker in his son's Marriage Certificate in 1862.  I suspect that he or his wife died or had some other setback before 1841, because in that Census his son is living with his Uncle George and his Aunt Maria in Dover.

I should be grateful if anybody could help.
