Just had the opportunity to check out the replies. Eliza Margaret Parkes/Perkes Sponder did die in 1897. Where did George go on the 1901 census? He did go to live with with sister Caroline Sparrow later. It is always a puzzle where people go to.
Will investigate further into the Metropolitan Police records, would love to take a trip back to the UK armed with all my info and try and follow up on all things. Brit

Hi

Just to clarify, the terms and conditions of your membership with FindMyPast state that you can only use the site for your own family research. Doing look-ups for others, even if you don't charge, is breaking the terms of your membership. Posting information you have found by looking at the 1911 census images is not breaking copyright rules, but breaking your membership rules.

You can only post information you have found in the free index of the 1911 census.

Well, I said this in a post 3 or 4 days ago, but it got deleted.

Why ?

Hi Lostris

You've resurrected a topic from 2011.

I'm happy to look further for you but where did you think you posted?

Yes, this topic came up whilst searching for my missing post from Weds/ Thurs of this week to do with 1911 search and post restrictions.

Your explanation was almost identical to what I posted trying to correct someone who said 1911 searches were banned due to Copyright Law - I just wanted to highlight the actual reason being T's & C's - as you have above.

Seems discourteous to just delete a post w/o explanation .....
